Getting your website live: step-by-step guides
Putting a website live needs about 30 minutes of your time: giving us access to where your web address is managed, and passing on any verification codes your provider sends by text or email. We do all the technical bits. Pick the guide that fits you:

Common questions
Do I really not pay anything until I've seen it?
Yes. We build your website first and send you a private link. You can ask for two rounds of changes. If you don't want it, you owe nothing and we delete the preview after 14 days.
Is this a scam? Why would you build it first?
No catch. We pick businesses we think deserve a better website and build it first, so you can see exactly what you'd get. iGetResults is a registered Australian business (ABN 51 293 969 234) based on the Gold Coast, and you pay securely through Stripe with a proper tax invoice.
What's included in Hosting & Management?
We host your website, keep it connected to your web address and keep it secure. And every week, all year round, we update it for you. We add your latest job photos from your Facebook and Instagram, your newest Google reviews, and any changes you've emailed us. You get a quick email showing what's new. And it never goes out of date: we keep your site modern, working well on the latest phones and keeping up with what Google looks for, and every improvement we make to our websites gets added to yours too. (A completely new design you ask for is quoted first.) Setup is free, there's no lock-in, and you can cancel any time.
How do I get the most out of the weekly updates?
Keep posting photos of your jobs on your business Facebook and Instagram. We pick the best ones and put them on your website each week, so it always shows your latest work. Make sure your pages are public so we can see them, or email us your photos.
How do I ask for a change, like a special or holiday hours?
Email hello@igetresults.com.au, or use the iGR app, and be specific: what to change, where on the site, and any dates. For example: "50% off all shutters and screens for Black Friday, 27 Nov to 1 Dec" or "Christmas hours: closed 24 Dec to 5 Jan". Requests that reach us by Monday go into that Wednesday's update, and dated specials switch on and off on the dates you give.
What if I need something changed straight away?
Small urgent changes are included: a closure notice, a new phone number or hours, or fixing a line of text. Email hello@igetresults.com.au and we aim to have it done within 1 business day. Bigger jobs, like a brand-new page, we talk through with you first and either fit into your weekly updates or quote for you to approve.
Who owns the website?
You do, once it's paid for. If you ever cancel Hosting & Management, we send you all the files so you can host it anywhere.
Do I need my own web address (domain)?
Yes. It's registered in your business name and you pay for it directly (about $10 for the first year and about $23 a year after at VentraIP, which we recommend). We walk you through buying it if you don't have one. You renew it each year; auto-renew makes that automatic.
My current website is on GoDaddy, Wix or Squarespace. Is that a problem?
Not with Hosting & Management. We host your new site ourselves and simply point your web address at it. Keep your old plan running until we tell you the new site is live, then you can usually cancel it (but never cancel the web address itself).
Will my email stop working?
No. If you get email at your web address, tell us and we copy the settings across so it keeps working. We check it with you before we finish.
Do I have to give you my password?
No. Most providers let you invite someone to help manage your account. You invite jp@igetresults.com.au and remove the access whenever you like. If your provider can't do that, we'll do it together on the phone.
How long does it take to go live?
Once we have access, we connect your website within 1 business day. It usually starts showing within a few hours, and can take up to 24 hours to reach everyone.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time, with the link in your receipt email or by telling us. The plan runs to the end of the month you've paid for.
