1. Who we are
iGetResults is a trading name of John Paul O’Connor, a sole trader on the Gold Coast, Queensland (registered business name: I Get Results, ABN 51 293 969 234). In these terms, “we” and “us” means iGetResults, and “you” means the business buying from us.
These terms apply when you ask us for a preview, buy a website or add-on, or sign up to a monthly plan. By paying, you agree to them.
2. How it works: try before you buy
- We build a preview of your new website first, usually using your own public photos, reviews, logo and business details. It’s free and there’s no obligation to buy.
- Your preview sits on a private link that’s hidden from Google. Only people you share the link with can see it.
- Before you pay, you can ask for two rounds of changes. We aim to have each round back to you within 24 to 48 hours.
- If you don’t want it, you owe nothing. Tell us and we’ll take the preview down. Previews that aren’t bought are deleted 14 days after we send them.
3. Prices
All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. You’ll get a tax invoice by email for every payment.
- Your new website: $499, paid once.
- Logo design: $149, paid once. Ten original ideas, two rounds of tweaks on the one you pick, and all the files.
- Hosting & Management: $39 a month, or $390 a year (2 months free), including weekly updates to your website, and SEO (see section 7). Setup is free when you choose this plan: we put your website live on your web address, host it and look after it.
- Put it live on your own hosting: $99, paid once, if you don’t want Hosting & Management. We load your website onto hosting you already pay for. This only works if your hosting accepts website files (for example cPanel hosting). Website-builder plans such as Wix, Squarespace or GoDaddy Websites + Marketing can’t take outside files, so we check first.
- Files only: if you only buy the website, we send you all the files and you put it online yourself.
Domain names and any paid third-party services you choose (for example a domain registration or an email plan) are paid by you to that provider, at their prices. We’ll always tell you before anything costs extra.
4. Paying
- You pay online through Stripe, our payment provider, by card, Apple Pay or another option shown at checkout (such as Klarna or Zip). We never see or store your full card number.
- Payment is due in full before we hand over your website files, put your website live or connect your domain.
- The charge appears on your statement as IGETRESULTS.COM.AU.
5. Delivery and ownership
- Once you’ve paid, we deliver within 2 business days of getting what we need from you. With Hosting & Management (or Put it live on your own hosting) we put the website live for you. With files only, we send you all the files by a download link (for example Dropbox or Google Drive).
- Putting a website live needs a little of your time, usually about 30 minutes: giving us access to where your web address is managed, and passing on any verification codes or emails your provider sends. We’ll send you a step-by-step guide.
- Once you’ve paid in full, the website is yours: the design, the files and the text we wrote for it. You can host it anywhere and have anyone work on it.
- Until you pay, the preview and its design stay ours.
- We may list your business as a recent job on our website or socials, but only if you say that’s OK.
6. Your photos, logo and words
- You confirm you’re allowed to use the photos, logos, reviews and text you give us, or that we use from your own public pages at your request.
- If you want anything removed or changed, tell us and we’ll do it.
- Photos from free stock libraries are credited where the library asks for it.
7. Hosting & Management plan (monthly or yearly)
- Monthly: $39 a month, charged automatically each month from the day you sign up, until you cancel.
- Yearly: $390 a year (the price of 10 months, so 2 months free), charged once a year from the day you sign up and renewing automatically each year until you cancel. Everything else about the plan is the same as monthly.
- What’s included: hosting your website on our Cloudflare account, keeping it connected to your web address, security, SEO (see below), and weekly updates.
- SEO (search engine optimisation): when your website goes live we set it up for Google: page titles and descriptions, your services and service areas, your business details marked up for search engines, a sitemap, and submitting your site to Google Search Console (which we manage for you). Each month we check your site in Google Search Console, fix problems we find on your website, and tell you in your monthly email how often your site appeared in Google searches. The weekly updates also keep your site up to date with new photos and reviews. We don’t guarantee any ranking, position or number of visitors or enquiries: Google decides its results, and they change over time. Extra pages written to target more searches (for example one page per service or suburb) fall under fair use: ask us and we’ll talk it through. Your Google Business Profile belongs to you; we can show you how to set it up and look after it.
- The weekly update happens every Wednesday, all year round. We:
- add your latest job photos from your business Facebook and Instagram pages (we pick the best ones that suit your site);
- add your newest Google reviews, word for word; and
- make the changes you’ve emailed us that week (see below).
- Asking for changes: email hello@igetresults.com.au (or use the iGR app) and be specific: what to change, where on the site, and any dates. For example: “Add a banner: 50% off all shutters and screens for Black Friday, 27 November to 1 December” or “Christmas hours: closed 24 December to 5 January”. Requests that reach us by Monday go into that Wednesday’s update. For specials and holiday hours, tell us the start and end dates and we’ll set them to switch on and off on those dates.
- Search Improvement Guarantee (“seen more on Google”): if you’re on our Hosting & Management plan (monthly or yearly) and your website’s total Google Search impressions in your third full month after going live are not higher than in your first full month, your next 3 months of Hosting & Management are free. An impression is a time your site appeared in Google search results, as shown in Google Search Console, which we set up and report on monthly. To qualify, you need to stay on the plan for those first three months, and your website must stay hosted with us and published, without major changes made by anyone other than us during that time. If it’s not met, we’ll tell you in your month 3 report and the free months apply automatically; on the yearly plan we add 3 months to the end of your term. This guarantee is about how often your site appears in Google searches; it is not a promise of any ranking, position, number of clicks, enquiries or sales. It doesn’t affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or the refund rules above.
- Fair use: the plan covers the weekly updates and the reasonable small changes you ask for, such as photos, reviews, specials, prices, hours or text. Most months that’s about 30 minutes of work or less. If the changes you ask for in a month go well beyond that, or a job is bigger (such as a brand-new page, a new section or a redesign), we’ll tell you before we start and either spread the work over your coming weekly updates or give you a fixed quote to approve. We never charge you for anything you haven’t agreed to first. Ongoing upgrades and improvements to your site (keeping it working well on the latest phones and browsers, keeping up with what Google looks for, and improvements we roll out across our websites) are included; a completely new design you ask for is quoted first.
- Something urgent between updates? Small urgent changes are included too, such as a closure notice (“closed tomorrow for a family emergency”), a changed phone number or hours, or fixing a line of text. Email us (or use the iGR app) and we aim to make them within 1 business day.
- Your photos and posts: by choosing this plan you ask us to use photos and reviews from your own public business pages on your website. We only use your own business’s pages and your own Google reviews. If you’d rather a photo wasn’t used, tell us and we’ll take it off. If your pages are private or we can’t reach them, email us your photos instead.
- No lock-in. Cancel any time using the link in your receipt email, or just tell us. The plan runs to the end of the month you’re in. On the yearly plan we refund the whole months you’ve paid for and not used.
- If you cancel, we send you all your website files so you can host it somewhere else, and we hand back control of your web address settings.
8. Refunds and your rights
Hosting & Management: cancel any time and we refund the whole months you’ve paid for and not used (see section 7).
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If something we’ve delivered doesn’t work as it should, tell us and we’ll fix it. Nothing in these terms takes away your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Where the law allows it, if our services don’t meet a consumer guarantee, our liability is limited to supplying the services again or paying the cost of having them supplied again.
9. Hosting and other providers
- Your web address (domain) is yours. You register it in your own business name, pay for it directly to your provider (we recommend VentraIP), and renew it each year. If it isn’t renewed, your website goes offline until it is, so we suggest turning on auto-renew.
- To host your website, we point your web address at our hosting. With your permission we may manage your domain’s settings (called DNS) in our Cloudflare account. We copy across your existing email settings so your email keeps working, and we’ll check it with you.
- You give us access by inviting us as a user on your domain account, so you never need to share your password. You can remove our access at any time.
- Hosting companies, domain registrars, email providers and payment providers have their own terms. We’re not responsible for their outages or changes, but we’ll help you sort out any problem.
10. Privacy
We only use your details to build your preview, look after you as a customer and send your invoices. See our privacy policy.
11. The legal bits
- These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
- We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you pay is the one that applies to that purchase.
iGetResults, trading name of John Paul O’Connor (business name: I Get Results), ABN 51 293 969 234. Gold Coast, Queensland. hello@igetresults.com.au · 1800 879 637.
12. Showing your website in our portfolio
- We’d love to show your finished website in a “Happy customers” showcase on igetresults.com.au, with your business name, a picture of your site and a link to it.
- We only do this if you say yes (for example by ticking the box on our “Getting you live” form, or by telling us in writing). It’s optional, and saying no doesn’t change anything else about your website or plan.
- You can change your mind at any time. Email hello@igetresults.com.au and we’ll take it down.
13. Bigger Builds: we’ll beat a written quote
- Got a genuine written quote from an Australian business for the same Bigger Build? Send us a copy and we’ll quote you lower, or tell you why we can’t match it.
- The quote must be dated in the last 30 days and cover the same features, pages and ongoing support.
- If it isn’t the same scope (for example it leaves out features, support or hosting), we’ll explain the difference.
- This applies to Bigger Builds only, not our $499 websites or our monthly plans. We can decline any job.
14. Free websites for charities
- Who qualifies: legitimate, active Australian not-for-profits and charities. We check each application, for example on the ACNC Charity Register and ABN Lookup.
- We choose who we take on, a few at a time, and we let every applicant know either way.
- The build, hosting, care and Google set-up are free. Bigger systems, such as bookings or member logins, aren’t included by default; we’ll talk them through.
- The charity owns and renews its own web address (domain).
- While we host the website, a small “Website by iGetResults” credit with a link stays in its footer.
- If we ever stop the program, existing charity websites get at least 60 days’ notice and their website files.
